School was bleh, exhausting today. Not exactly mentally but physically. Mr kwok's infamous lesson plus badminton training which lasted a good FOUR hours. Now i am physically dead, and i wan to sleep!
Im mentally alive though. But who ever said you could do homework with a dead body.
PE was fine, I was chionging too much. It was interval training today. Warm up of 3 laps, and after each lap, we were greeted by strange excercies (actually not really strange ones), like leg excercises or stretching excercises. That was fine, just like a filler. And after that 3 laps, we had to run 800M continously and then take an interval (break) do some weird excercises and do that again. Total of 7 laps (7X400=2.8KM total distance covered). I was always the first one to finish. (and take shows that im chioning too much).
And yes, maybe I should be considerate to my own body, for I have training to attend later. And since I wan to make it school team, I cannot pon just because I have a half dead body and I was dragging my feet to training.
Today was rather slack. GP, then PE, and then. Geog which was icebreakers and only abit of actual work. Chem tutorial was the most intense, and maths was okay. So rather time-wasting day...
At training we were made to do boring drills. And i shall spare readers on the unexciting content, and go straight to the point. Coach wants to see our standard and made us play match, and the purpose is to sort us into Singles n doubles.
I don't mind doubles but, I prefer singles.
So Im currently picked for singles training. (keyword:training). the people who play for the sch is still undecided or rather, uncomfirmed. So from nxt training onwards, people who have been sorted for singles go for singles training and doubles for doubles training. Yes, self explainatory. And at the end of the next 7 sessions, (maybe earlier), the team will be selected.
And I am prepared that I may not be selected.
I played 1 singles infront of coach. He didn't really seem pleased with me. I won the other guy, 15-13, but still, I think i was tired, and physically strained (last part of the 4 hour session plus PE mind you).
He said, my playstyle too kan jiong (meaning rush) and I will tend to make mistakes this way. And also commented on my not so good stablity. I gotta work on that.
But overall, i think that match was okay, though i cud have done better. but it could have been worst. i didn't expect much from a physically disabled me...
