level difference

Today was at cck sports hall and like we saw IJ pple training. After they finish 2 J2 guys came n challenge me and wz doubles. I think they school team de and one of them is captain. LOL. and of course. they r darn good. Their game is like got level difference from ours and we lost 15-9, 15-8 2 sets. Was pretty intense match, (for us). but they were much better than us. technically and....of course, their doubles formation. I saw several pretty not bad and pro dudes in IJ too. Maybe I can really consider going there!

Both of them were good. Their game consisted of NO lobbing (well limited). Yeah real solid doubles I can see. Their smashes were like gay, and their drive were like bullets. Yeah literally, u can hear the BOMB and then the shuttle fly to the backcourt and err. me n wz stare at each other with this =.= face. REALLY fast and aggresive play. They had SUPER cutting dropshots which were like accelerate and then suddenly slow down instantly right at the tape. Darn gay shots! I didn't see any reverse slicing though. I was struggling with my defense and many of their points were gained by their solid smashes. I could proudly say we didn't make much mistakes. Actually, most of the points we got were from "finding the loophole" and empty space and blast the bird there. It wasn't impossible to get points, but winning is really impossible. For the first time, we felt JC standard play, and it was kinda overwhelming. When guys pass puberty and enter another stage. from boys to men. their strokes intensify and their smashes become really scary. I wonder what my standard would be at JC2. I gotta improve.

Very interesting game. Spoke to the captain awhile while he persuaded me and wz to go IJ and join them. And on a more enouraging note, he said we played well. It's always good to compliment the ones who lost to make them feel better har. We did maybe pressurize them a little, or at least, we gave them a good game, and that is all that we could do.Doubles is certainly fun. Doubles roxxors!!!. Perhaps being a doubles player is not bad afterall. now nida work on my defense against all those gay hardcore smashing.
