No news of when results will be out yet. I guess it's the 9th Feb, which is Fri. If it's monday, Im prepared. Actually, it's best not to think too much and I go school and take my 15 points. Bleh.
This morning watched Chen Jin Vs Hashim Hafiz. Chen Jin won in rubber sets, and I was kinda impressed by both players. (which potrayed and offered very different play styles). I kinda feel sympathy for Hafiz. He is a technically strong and TRICKY player, but his problem probably lies in his mistakes. Chen Jin is fast and consistant, which resulted in his win over Hafiz.
I can see Chen Jin as the up and coming player of China. He is really fast, and like the commentator said, very impressive continous attacks. He can attack relentlessly and continously until he gets the point. While Hafiz lacks the continual attacking ability. After a few presses with his smash and tapping he hits the tape with his shot. Such mistakes are fatal in such matches, and Hafiz is simply playing a game of self-destruction. Mistake kills! I wonder why a professional badminton player can make so many mistakes! but I believe it's kinda fair as he has absolutely fab deception (nice low crossnet shot & tricky too!!). Probably one of the players with the most "flashy" net play. Interesting to watch. Hafiz looked kinda serious, and Chen Jin was just being himself I guess. Chen jin all the way! actually it's kinda strange because I support both players. Hafiz's deception! My eyecandy!, Chen Jin's speed, something to go gaga over. (eh wait i feel like im using a wrong word here..but zzz. neverminds).
Then in the evening I went for YF. Which was not bad. (i always say the same thing if u noticed). The talk was about relationships BGR and i felt it was kinda interesting. I mean, it's one of the more relevant things Ive heard in church so far. So yeah, was kinda funny hearing what people around me were saying and I was luffing like there's no tommorow. And yeah, when Pastor weasly asked "what is dating". Wilson was being a lamer and said stuff about CARBON DATING. omgosh, thats like so.....out of point, but funny thing is I tot of the same thing.
But whats with no dating till 21. I mean like, imagine this. If you're a guy, you don't date anyone before 21. When you reach 21, won't you have like ZERO experience. I mean like it's about knowing a girl and making the approach. Without experience, it's gonna be hard. And nowadays more and more people are left on the shelves. Wouldn't it be good to "start young". at least during JC or poly days. Chances are, you won't stay with the one you stead with when you're young but at least it leaves you with some lessons. You make some mistakes along the way, learn from them, and then learn to take the pain from relationships. I can't believe a 21 yr old guy with absolutely no experience courting a girl. That's like so weird.
Oh, that's just my 2 cents. Everything made sense except the 21 yr rule. And, I tried satay beehoon (reccomended by glen heng). LOL. it was mediocre, not bad. it pales in comparison compared to stingray!!! hanged around for awhile and left at around 10 plus.
Watched Taiyou no Uta ytd.[title translates to Song of the Sun] {somehow, the subs translate it as Song to the son, but shouldn't it be Song of the sun, with my basic intepretation of the words, that is] Not the movie, but the drama. Pretty good, but it looks like it's gonna be SAD. and yeah, it's played by Erika Sawajiri who played Ikeuchi Aya in 1 Litre of Tears ( ichi littoru no namida ) [ which is an extremely fab but SAD drama ]. And this time, instead of some fatal disease (which I forgot the name), she has some disease known as XP. her skin is extremely sensitive to UV radiation, and she might not live pass the yr of 20!. Male protagonist played by Yamada (who played Hiro in H2, and the male lead in Densha Otoko movie). So far, the story is not bad, with a nice confrontation (or talk) between the male n female lead. Rather interesting to see how the story would develop. I can't predict much actually....and Im gonna follow this one closely.
Dats all for my post. Boring stuff again for readers, but bear with it while I find more surveys to entertain you guys. While Im doing so (or while waiting for new posts), tag on!
