Depressed

Midnight again. Yeah, im depressed. Can't get to sleep and there's church tmr. dun blame mi if i fall asleep. im desperately getting youtube videos to WORK. Trying to watch some instructional videos on badminton but it like lags and suffers from "premature download complete'. ok, i will have a hard time elaborating on such a lame problem like tt. first lesson on backhand already and it's pretty englightening! FINALLY someone officially acknowledges the panhandle grip for backhand shots!! woo, and i realized it's usability myself, (though others must have already). but im proud to discover it myself, after some trial and error.

Suffered 15-3 defeat from uncle zamui today. I really feel like I have lots to work on. True, Uncle zamui has godly deception, super fast punch lobbing, and killer backhand. He has ALMOST totally no weakness. I feel like im going against a monster, YEAH a monster.
Facing such an obstacle, I succumb to pressure, I fall to bad habits and poor technique. mistake after mistake, i really have no guts n nerve to play badminton. Im a failure.

Lesson of the day, or rather TIP of the day. I gotta work out on my backhand corner. Master a around-da-head or just get a fabulous backhand where pple have nth to complain about. Until I get that BOOM BOOM feeling on my backhand I SWEAR im never going to use it again. From today onwards, Im never going to play a backhand EVER again till I master my around the head.

I feel kinda dead. My muscle feels stiffed but it's not aching. I lost to fat boy 2 times in a row today. I should be ashamed of myself, but I guess I was tired. Too many excuses I give myself, that's why I don't improve. I need some dramatic change, I need some intensive training.

Tmr have Sun training. I use to think the training is very good, but now, it's kinda ok-ok feeling for me. After observing danial play, I realize he has too much speed for his own good. His too fast, too strong for his own technique. Im not saying he has bad technique, but his mistakes are sometimes, uncalled for. I feel that mr ong's training develops speed and aggresiveness, true, it's good 2 be aggresive, and aggresive net play is what men singles is about nowadays. (and yeah, it's also killer jump smashes), his footwork is totally different from what i learnt elsewhere. speed is the main product while consistancy is the by-product. i feel that this is the result of his training. don't talk about gerald ong, his #1 singles for his age in SG now, but he trains elsewhere too and he trains hard, he has the height for his age....so why give all the credit to mr ong's training. good is good lah, but it's not fantastic...

Im going to the nearby HDB block to train my footwork at least 3 times per week. Maybe hit the gym like once or twice per week.
