On apparently a guy who actually burned all his Odex anime in attempt to show his anger towards Odex.

I really have no mood to write more stuff pertaining to this retarded company and Im tired actually though I have lots to say.

OKAY look. With all major anime fans boycotting Odex as a whole, they won't have much income from selling of their poor quality VCDS. They will probably survive awhile on fines. And then they will wait for the commiunity to finally accept this whole thing as a whole and then give up on downloading and boycotting. Not being able to survive the cold turkey without anime, anime fans would probably finally bow down to odex and adapt to buying low quality vcds.

That will never happen. In the first place, is "surviving on fines" even a legimate business strategy. Is is right to do things even though it is LEGAL but morally and ethically WRONG and disturbing? I don't know. Then why should it be LEGAL in the first place. Odex abuses the law.
Copyright laws are good, in good hands, it does really help to get rid of piracy as a whole. But odex is abusing all the hype about piracy. People tend to go " whoo haa piracy is WRONG ". and they sterotype any form of downloading as wrong. But everything should be evualated case-by-case, and in this Odex saga, it will be natural that the layman (average singaporean dumboo sua kuuu that doesn't really know much about anime, especially working adults or the older generation). Odex knows this very well. These sua kus (or unhip) people will probably form a large percentage of the only people who actually will support odex. The rest will be made up of people who are too obssessed with ANTI piracy that they overlook details. People with mentality like " as long as it's downloaded, it's wrong ", shot. Stop sterotyping!

And I believe if actually people do buy ODEX stuff. It would be old mums and old aunties who buy them for their young children. People who are detached and ignorant about all this odex crap. If you know someone like this, or similair, tell them to boycott odex products.

What I'm saying. it's nothing wrong. boycotting is a right. influencing others to boycott is too a right. If not, why is it called a boycott in the first place.
